Gordon Feinblatt Elects Four Members

Gordon Feinblatt, LLC is pleased to announce that Timothy J. Capurso, Esq., Laura L. Johnson, Esq., Cynthia A. Shay, Esq., and Y. Jeffrey Spatz, Esq. have been elected members.

Mr. Capurso has been elected as a Member in the Firm’s Personal Injury Practice Group. He litigates personal injury cases from inception through trial. Mr. Capurso received his J.D. from the University of Baltimore School of Law and his B.S. from Towson University. He is admitted to practice in Maryland, the District of Columbia, the U.S. District Court for the District of Maryland and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 4th Circuit.

Ms. Johnson has been elected as a Member in the Firm’s Trusts and Estates Practice Group. Her practice includes estate and trust administration, estate planning, litigation involving tax controversies and other contested matters, and the preparation of estate, tax, fiduciary income tax, and gift tax returns. Ms. Johnson received her J.D. from the University of Baltimore School of Law and her B.A. from the University of Baltimore. She is admitted to practice in Maryland.

Ms. Shay has been elected as a Member in the Firm’s Business, Securities and Health Care Practice Groups. She focuses her practice in corporate and commercial law, including mergers, acquisitions, dispositions, contract negotiation, entity formation, employment and consulting agreements, antitrust issues and antitrust law and statutory filings. She is also a licensed Certified Public Accountant with experience in the private sector in insurance and capital markets. Ms. Shay received her J.D. from the University of Baltimore School of Law, her M.B.A. from the University of Baltimore School of Business and her B.S. from West Virginia University. She is admitted to practice in Maryland.

Mr. Spatz has been elected as a Member in the Firm’s Tax Planning, Business and Real Estate Practice Groups. He focuses his practice on advising clients in real estate and business transactions as well as tax planning strategies. He provides counsel on mergers, acquisitions, real estate transactions, venue structuring, financing, equity investments, leasing, growth planning, asset & stock transactions, and analysis for numerous federal income tax issues. Mr. Spatz received his J.D. from the University of Maryland School of Law, his LL.M. from the University of Baltimore School of Law and his Bachelors degree from Ner Israel Rabbinal College. He is admitted to practice in Maryland.
