Special Alert: New February 1, 2015 Effective Date For Maryland Foreclosure Forms
As discussed in our December 2014 Maryland Legal Alert, the Office of the Commissioner of Financial Regulation published new regulations to modify some of the forms required in connection with foreclosures on Maryland residential property.
Industry representatives immediately expressed concern that a December 11, 2014 effective date would not provide enough time to implement the necessary forms changes. In response, the Commissioner has corrected the effective date of the new regulations to February 1, 2015.
