Amanda is Counsel in the firm’s Litigation practice. She is a commercial litigator with over a decade of experience who helps clients to efficiently resolve legal conflicts that affect their business operations.
Amanda has assisted clients resolve a broad array of disputes, including real estate, insurance, higher education, covenant enforcement, employment, landlord/tenant, professional licensure, environmental, and construction litigation matters, False Claims Act, Lanham Act, and Sherman Act, and SEC litigation, as well as municipal, state, and private contract disputes. Her client list includes individuals, small- and medium-sized businesses in numerous industries, schools, neighborhood associations, 501(c)(3) organizations, and municipal and governmental entities. Along with her trial court experience, Amanda is also adept at alternative dispute resolution, including through informal negotiation, formal mediation, and arbitration.
Amanda received her J.D., summa cum laude, from the University of Baltimore, where she was Articles Editor for the University of Baltimore Law Review and competed nationally in the ABA National Appellate Advocacy Moot Court Competition. After graduation she served as an adjunct professor at her alma mater, coaching competitive moot court teams.
Before embarking on her legal career, Amanda obtained a BS in Architecture and worked for 5 years as an architect - a role that nurtured her logical creativity. She has applied this mindset to her legal work, offering a unique perspective and approach to problem solving. Her background in architecture has proved particularly valuable in yielding positive results for her construction and real estate clients.
Amanda is licensed to practice in the state of Maryland.
