Tamia J. Morris, Associate

Tamia is an Associate in the Real Estate, Financial Services, and Energy & Environmental practice groups. She advises clients on the negotiation of vendor and leasing agreements and regularly conducts due diligence and title review in connection with real estate transactions.
Tamia also represents local, regional, and national banks, as well as other financial institutions, in the structuring, negotiation, documentation, and closing of commercial finance transactions.
In addition to her legal practice, Tamia is actively engaged in her community. She serves as a mentor with iMentor Baltimore in collaboration with the Baltimore Design School and is a member of the Board of Directors for the Hope Harbor Community Development Corporation, which focuses on housing and community revitalization in the Edmondson Village corridor.

- Negotiated commercial leases from both landlord and tenant perspectives
- Assisted clients with CPCN (Certificate of Public Convenience and Necessity) matters
- Represented cooperative housing boards in governance and operational matters
- Handled residential breach of contract disputes involving latent defects
- Represented homeowners’ associations and condominium regimes in actions for injunctive relief

- Represented banks, credit unions, and other financial institutions in vendor agreement negotiation and third-party risk management
