Steven M. Gevarter Joins Gordon Feinblatt

Baltimore, Maryland – Gordon Feinblatt, LLC is pleased to announce that Steven M. Gevarter has joined the Firm as a Member in the Tax Planning and Business Law Practice Groups.

Mr. Gevarter's more than 30 years of practice includes providing counsel on a wide range of federal and state tax planning and compliance matters for individuals, tax-exempt organizations and business entities, including corporations, partnerships and limited liability companies. He also has extensive experience in business related matters, such as acquisitions and joint ventures, and issues involving choice of entity formation, the purchase and sale of a business and corporate governance.

Mr. Gevarter earned his J.D. from Villanova Law School, his LL.M. (Tax) from the New York University School of Law and his B.A. from Franklin & Marshall College. Following law school, Mr. Gevarter served as law clerk to Daniel L. Hermann, Chief Justice of the Delaware Supreme Court. He is admitted to the bars of the States of Maryland and Delaware. Mr. Gevarter is a member of the American Bar Association's Section of Taxation and the Maryland State Bar Association's Tax Section Council.

Mr. Gevarter is Immediate Past Chair of the Baltimore-Ashkellon (Israel) Sister City Partnership, a member of the Board of Directors of The Associated: Jewish Federation of Baltimore and a former President of Jewish Family Services. He also serves as the General Counsel for the Howard County Chamber of Commerce.
