Sue is an artist whose experience in painting restoration and conservation has informed her “current art practice in technique, momentum and material.” Her work in a variety of craft and design traditions seeks to “convey emotions by weaving layers of repetitive linework.”

Sue’s paintings reference “the structure of textiles while embodying personal meditation practices.” Her works explore time, space travel, natural abundance, volcanic activity and serpent.

Sue has been exhibited in Baltimore, MD; Boston, MA; Milwaukee, WI; and Somerville, MA.

She earned her Bachelor in Fine Arts from Massachusetts College of Art and Design in Boston, MA.
