Alicia is a Member on Leave in Gordon Feinblatt’s Labor and Employment Practice.
Alicia’s practice covers the spectrum of employment litigation. She handles all aspects of both state and federal claims involving race, age, disability and gender/sexual orientation discrimination, as well as sexual harassment, retaliatory discharge, and wage and hour issues. In addition, Alicia represents unions and management in collective bargaining and National Labor Relation Act matters.
Prior to joining the Firm’s Labor and Employment Practice Group, Alicia had a broad litigation practice including representing business and individuals in complex commercial matters arising from banking and lending transactions and contract disputes. She also has represented individuals in custody and divorce matters. Alicia has extensive experience representing landlords and tenants in matters involving complex commercial leases.
Prior to joining Gordon Feinblatt, Alicia clerked for the Honorable David W. Young (ret.) of the Circuit Court for Baltimore City.
Alicia is an active member of the Baltimore community. She has held officer positions in several bar associations. Alicia is a past president of the Alliance of Black Women Attorneys of Maryland and currently co-chairs the organization’s Strategic Growth Committee. Alicia is also Co-Chair of the Historical and Mentoring Committee of the Bar Association of Baltimore City and serves on the local and Specialty Bar Liaison Committee of the Maryland State Bar Association.
