Bryan is a Member in the Financial Services and Bankruptcy and Restructuring practices. Bryan counsels financial institutions in commercial loan workouts, bankruptcy proceedings, financings and contract disputes. Bryan also represents secured and unsecured creditors in commercial collections, including judgment enforcement, foreclosures and related proceedings.
Bryan also counsels clients in connection with state and federal lending laws, mortgage servicing, auto financing, and debt collection compliance. Bryan also advises depository institutions concerning compliance with account garnishments, Maryland Confidential Financial Records Act and legal order processing.
Prior to joining Gordon Feinblatt, Bryan served as a Judicial Law Clerk for the Honorable Pamela J. White at the Baltimore City Circuit Court.
Bryan co-authored a series on the activities in 2019 and 2020 identified as unfair, deceptive or abusive acts or practices (UDAAPs) by the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, state attorneys general and consumer financial services regulators using federal UDAAP powers created by the Dodd-Frank Act.
