Matt was named to Best Lawyers 2020 for Employee Benefits (ERISA) Law.

My goal is to provide efficient and sound advice with a personal touch.

Matt has concentrated on employee benefit law throughout his career. Matt's experience covers the full range of employee benefit plans, including:

  • Pension and profit-sharing plans,
  • Multiemployer benefit plans (Taft-Hartley),
  • Employee stock ownership plans (ESOPs),
  • 401(k) and tax-sheltered annuity arrangements,
  • Health insurance and cafeteria plans,
  • Dependent care,
  • Medical reimbursement plans, and
  • Deferred compensation programs, including 409A issues.

Matt also specializes in helping employers comply with the Affordable Care Act.
