Matt Mellin has concentrated on employee benefit law throughout his career.  He has practiced in both the law firm environment and as a staff attorney for one of the world's largest employee benefits consulting firms.  Matt's experience covers the full range of employee benefit plans, including public and private sector pension and profit sharing plans, multiemployer benefit plans, ESOPs, 401(k) and tax sheltered annuity arrangements, health insurance and cafeteria plans, dependent care, medical reimbursement plans, and deferred compensation programs.

Matt is a past Chairman of the Employee Benefits Subcommittee of the Maryland State Bar Association's Section of Taxation, and has served on the Maryland State Personnel Article Review Committee which recodified Maryland's personnel laws, including its various pension and retirement systems.
